Composed by the venerable teacher Varahamihira Varahamihira (c. 505–587 CE) was a polymath and one of the most celebrated astronomers and astrologers in Indian history.
The Varahi (Brihat) Samhita. The "Great Compilation," an encyclopedic work covering astrology, planetary movements, eclipses, rainfall, agriculture, and architecture.

Pandit Baldev Prasad Mishra,
resident of Moradabad, son of Sukhanand Mishra,
editor of the Satyasindhu monthly journal,
and commentator and author of many books.
The same was printed and published by
Gangavishnu Shrikrishnadas
at his "Lakshmivenkateshwar" Printing Press.
