The Tajika Neelakanthi

The Tajika Neelakanthi is a classic 16th-century Sanskrit treatise on Persian-influenced Indian astrology.

The first half is fixed and the second half is movable; it rules the southern direction, is powerful at night, belongs to the air element, and has a cold nature. It is a sign of even rising original: "samalagna", also possesses the earth element, and is characterized by "half-sound." It has a strong but dry body and a yellow color. It belongs to the warrior caste original: "Kshatriya", is hot, and has a bilious temperament original: "Pitta". It is characterized by few children and few female companions. It is a dual-natured sign original: "Dvisvabhava" where the first half is fixed and the second half is movable. It has two feet and belongs to the fire element. It is of a fierce nature and possesses two colors and two forms: the first half is gold-colored and the second half is yellow; above the waist it is a man and below it is a horse.
