Commentary: If the Sun is in the fourth house the house of home, mother, and happiness, the individual will possess the splendor of enjoyment and authority, but will engage in discord or conflict with his brothers. He will travel constantly, suffer a loss of honor while battling enemies, and his mind will never find true peace.
The Sun in the house of children causes distress regarding one's firstborn; yet the intellect becomes as sharp as the tip of a blade of grass. He becomes learned in mantras and counsel, though he is prone to anger and negligence. Death should be anticipated through diseases of the chest or stomach. || 5 ||
Commentary: One who has the Sun in the fifth house the house of progeny and intelligence will be troubled by his first child. His intellect will be extremely sharp, like the point of darbha grass a sacred, sharp-edged grass used in rituals. He will become a statesman or diplomat, a man of great effort, and will accumulate wealth. However, he may become arrogant or intoxicated by power, and will eventually meet his end through a disease such as leprosy original: "kushtha," which can refer to various skin afflictions or leprosy.
The Sun in the sixth house destroys enemies, yet causes expenditure through the king or through friends. It brings calamity to the maternal family or through four-legged animals, and causes sorrow via forest-dwellers during travels. || 6 ||
Commentary: When the Sun is in the sixth house the house of debts, enemies, and illness, the person's enemies will be destroyed. He will face expenses related to the government or through his friends. In his mother's family, his maternal uncle will suffer distress caused by four-legged animals livestock or wild beasts. Furthermore, while traveling, he will face grief or trouble from the Bhils a tribal community of hunters and forest-dwellers.
