If Jupiter, the teacher of the gods, is in the first house, the person is great in virtues, wise, happy, and possesses a divine body. They have immense strength. Their thoughts are directed toward the future and the afterlife. Their wealth is spent on auspicious or powerful causes.
Commentary.— One who has Jupiter original: "Guru" or "Brihaspati" in the first house First House: the house of self and physical appearance will attain greatness due to their virtues. They will be a statesman or counselor. They will be happy and handsome. They will possess great strength. They will attain the heavenly world after death. Their wealth will be spent on virtuous or powerful endeavors.
If Jupiter is in the second house, the person is a poet, possesses the power of authority, but their happiness is flawed and their enjoyments end quickly. Wealth is obtained through great effort, and even with tireless work, riches do not remain stable.
Commentary.— One who has Jupiter in the second house Second House: the house of wealth and family will be a poet. They will be one who metes out punishment or acts as a leader. There will be some flaw or blemish in their happiness. Their physical pleasures will be short-lived. They will obtain only a little wealth and that too through great hardship. Even if they exert themselves greatly, they will not acquire much more wealth.
If the counselor of the gods is in the third house, the person is the least among their younger siblings. They become ungrateful and break friendships. Even when their fortune rises, they do not obtain the expected wealth.
Commentary.— One who has Jupiter in the third house Third House: the house of siblings and courage will be very humble or lowly in nature. They will receive happiness from their siblings original: "Sahodara," meaning born from the same womb. They will be ungrateful original: "Krutaghna," one who forgets favors. They will break off friendships. At the time when their fortune is supposed to rise, they will not receive the wealth they expected.
