Commentary — If Jupiter is in the seventh house The house of marriage and partnerships, the individual's intellect and prosperity will be great. His affection for women will be slight. He will be proud. In terms of elegance and beauty, he will be like Cupid original: "Madana," the Hindu god of desire and erotic love.
He shall not dwell long in his father's house, nor shall his
home or his body remain permanent. His limbs shall not
remain free from disease for long; yet, the mortal who
has Jupiter in the eighth house shall go to the
Abode of Vishnu upon death. || 8 ||
Commentary — If Jupiter is in the eighth house The house of longevity and transformations, the individual will not stay in his father's house for many days. Instead of being attached to his home, he will wander throughout his life in the manner of a supreme ascetic original: "Paramahamsa" — a monk who has attained the highest level of spiritual realization. His body will not remain free of disease for long. After death, he will go to Heaven original: "Vaikuntha" — the celestial abode of Lord Vishnu.
His house shall have four stories; he shall be a favorite
of the King, and the gods of the earth shall be
dear to him. When Jupiter is in the house of Fortune,
his kinsmen are humble, yet through pride and
laziness, he causes his religious merit to decline. || 9 ||
Commentary — If Jupiter is in the ninth house The house of fortune, dharma, and father, his mansion will consist of four courtyards. He will be very dear to the King. The Brahmins original: "Bhumideva," literally "gods of the earth" will show him favor. His relatives will remain humble toward him. However, his religious duties will be ruined by his laziness and arrogance.
With Jupiter in the tenth, his house is a gallery of
wonders; his glory exceeds even that of his ancestors.
Through his religious merit, his body thrives, and

Commentary — If Jupiter is in the tenth house The house of career and public action, his home will be filled with beautiful palatial rooms. He will be more radiant and powerful than his ancestors. He will find contentment through the happiness of his sons—
