In the first part is the author's best advice to them on what to do before they bring in a True Bill original: Billa vera; a legal term indicating that a grand jury finds enough evidence to proceed to a full trial in cases of witchcraft. It also includes a Christian direction for those who are too inclined, whenever they face any setback original: "every cross", to think themselves bewitched.
In the second part is a treatise concerning witches, both good Referring to "white witches" or "cunning folk" who claimed to use magic for healing or finding lost items and bad, and how they may be known, convicted original: "evicted"; in this legal context it means to be proven guilty or legally overcome, and condemned, with many details related to that subject.
