I presume all the more in this matter because I have observed your Lordships’ holy attention to the Word original: "the Word"; referring to the Bible or the preaching of scripture. delivered before you, and your worthy respect toward God’s ministers. Therefore, I do not doubt you will favorably accept my best service, which is honestly intended for the public good. Nevertheless, I humbly crave your pardon if I have overstepped original: "taken too much upon mee" in any way within these pages. So, praying heartily for your happy days and for your honor to be redoubled in your service of God, our King, and our country, I humbly take my leave.
