Blessed is the portion of those who labor in the Torah! When the Holy One, Blessed be He, arises to bring close to Him all that He saw on the King’s earth, He brings it as an offering. I have seen His hidden secrets which he beheld. Indeed, Ezekiel original: "Yechukal" is, as it were, the essence of faithfulness; everything he saw, he saw through the lens of faith, and he revealed all the secrets of the Holy One, Blessed be He, that were necessary to be revealed.
Come and see: all the children who descended to the land of Egypt below were carried according to the "Youth" The "Youth" (Na'ar) is a mystical title for the angel Metatron, who governs the lower worlds and guides Israel in exile.. Woe to those who are not accustomed to the Youth, for at the end of their days they expect delights and pleasures, yet they find a Youth who is not a "perfect youth" until there is cause for weeping. When Israel descended to Egypt, they were accustomed to the Youth, for all the days of that righteous one Jacob, their merit was through the Youth. Because of their folly, the exile unfolded as is fitting for every exile. During that entire time, that Youth was perfected, and the upper and lower beings all wept together over them, as it is written:
Behold, their brave ones cry without... Isaiah 33:7. The Zohar interprets "brave ones" (erellam) as high-ranking angels.
And regarding the lower beings, it is written:
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down and wept... Psalm 137:1
They all wept over the exile, for the children who had been like the delights of kings, as it is written:
The precious sons of Zion... Lamentations 4:2
We have learned: do not be comforted by what is written on the parchment, but weep and weep again! For these are the high mountains of the worlds, and those high mountains are the "precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold." When they descended into exile, their heads were bowed, their necks burdened, and their hands bound behind them. When they were in the Babylonian exile, they were beloved, yet they felt they had no eternal standing, thinking the Holy One, Blessed be He, had abandoned them and would never look upon them again.
At that moment, the Holy One, Blessed be He, called to all His heavenly family original: "pamalya", all His chariots term: Merkavot (Divine Chariots/structures of the celestial realm), all His hosts, the Matron The Shekhinah, the feminine aspect of the Divine, the Throne, and all the hosts of heaven. He said to them: "What are you doing here? My beloved children are embraced by the Babylonian exile, and you are here? Arise! Descend all of you to Babylon, and I shall be with them!" This is the meaning of: "Thus says the Lord: For your sake I have sent to Babylon" Isaiah 43:14. It does not say "The Holy One sent," but "I have sent"—meaning He sent Himself along with all the chariots and the Supernal Matron.
When they descended to Babylon, the heavens were opened and the Holy Spirit rested upon Ezekiel, and he saw all that he saw. He came to Israel and said: "Even in this destroyed place, among all these filthy things, the Chariots have come to dwell among you!" They did not believe him until he was forced to reveal all that he saw... he revealed even more
Rabbi Yessa said: I heard the voice of Israel in the complete exile, and when they heard the words from the mouth of Ezekiel, they stood as a congregation of the Matron, for she was with them. Each one was pained by the exile, for they knew that the Holy One, Blessed be He, does not withhold His will from a prophet... and just as the Throne was revealed, so too it is revealed in every place where Israel was exiled, the Shekhinah was exiled with them. And here, in the exile of Egypt, what is written?
And these are the names of the children of Israel... Exodus 1:1
Since it is written "the children of Israel," why does it then say "with Jacob"? It should have said "who came with him." Rather, "these are the names of the children of Israel" refers to the Chariots and the supernal dwellings that descended with Jacob alongside the Shekhinah into the Egyptian exile.
Are the names of the children of Israel, etc. Rabbi Hiyya opened his discourse:
Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon; look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards. Song of Songs 4:8
This verse was said concerning the Assembly of Israel The mystical community of Jewish souls/Shekhinah at the time Israel went out of Egypt and approached Mount Sinai to receive the Torah. The Holy One, Blessed be He, said to her: "Come with me from Lebanon"—from that supernal delight you have come, a perfect bride, coming quickly to be crowned from heaven with all light and gathering...
