You must know which of them are Strong or Weak, Light or Heavy, Superior or Inferior, Fortunate or Unfortunate, and their Joys. Also, which are Good in themselves or Evil, whether by nature or by half-nature. Furthermore, you must know their Binding and Separation, the Micheliz Alieber A technical term likely referring to planetary strength or "emptiness of course", their Changes, Returns, Receptions, and the Conjunctions of their Lights. One must know the Aspect of one to another: namely the Left and Right, the Trine, Sextile, Square, and Opposition, as well as the Projections of the Rays of the Houses, the Exaltations, Terms, Faces, and Triplicities, and their Algebu tar original: "Algebu tar"; likely a corruption of the Arabic 'al-jabr', referring to planetary calculations or adjustments. Also their Addition and Diminution, Friendship, Enmity, and Eclipse. And which one is adding or subtracting in the calculation and their complexion.
¶ Moreover, you must know the Signs: Fixed, Movable, and Common; those that Ascend Directly or Tortuously; and which are Fiery, Airy, Watery, or Earthy. Also their Colors and Forms, their Oriental and Occidental nature. And which are Southern or Northern, Vernal, Estival Summer, Autumnal, or Hibernal Winter. Also their Tastes and Smells, their Bright and Dark degrees, Empty and Smoky degrees, and the degrees of Shadow or the Shadowy ones, Windy and Non-windy. Also the Azemena Degrees associated with physical defects or chronic illness and Pitted degrees which give Chronic Sicknesses. ¶ Afterward, you must know all the Modes of Signification and the parts of the Beibenia original: "Beibenia"; refers to the fixed stars of the first or second magnitude, that is, the Fixed Stars of the first or second magnitude. And how he will behave in his childhood. And if he who nourished him is his father or not. ¶ You will also be able to know the state of his brothers: both the older, middle, and younger, and also the state of his sisters: or how many brothers or Sisters there will be, and which of them will die before or after him. Also the state of friendship and enmity, and their mutual gain or loss. And if the things of the native will have their inheritance, or he himself their inheritances. And which of the brothers will be Rich or poor.
¶ You will also be able to know the Parentage of the native's parents, whether they be of a Small or great lineage; whether they be of one status or diverse, and which of them is greater than the other, namely the Father or the mother. And if the native is loved by them or not; and if they will nourish him or put him on his way. Also which of the parents loves him more, and to which of them he will be more similar: namely the Father or Mother, or the Brothers. And if the father will be sick with a Curable or incurable sickness, and likewise the mother, and which dies first. And by what sickness their death will be. And if the native will have inheritances or not and when. Also what the parents will have of gain or labor from the native, and whether the native will remain with them or be separated from them. ¶ You will also be able to know whether the native is fit to have children or not; and if fit, whether he will have daughters, and at what time. Also how many will be Males or females; whether they will live or not; whether they will prosper or not, and which of them will be elevated or depressed. And if the Males will be stronger or weaker than themselves. Also which of the children will be fortunate or unfortunate, Free or servants, and if they die before him or he before them. ¶ You can also know the state of the native's sickness, and where his sicknesses will be, and at what time, and whether the sickness will be in the body or the spirit, and in which member. ¶ You will also be able to know the Marriage of the native: whether he will have a wife or not. If he ought to have a wife, how he will receive her, and whether she will be of a greater lineage or lesser than himself. Whether she will be a girl virgin or not, Small or great, Fickle or of the common people, Free or a handmaid. And if she will be fortunate or unfortunate with him, or if he will pursue gain or loss with her. Or if she will be an adulteress or not. If she will love him or not. If the native will be in the power of the wife or the wife in the power of the native. If the native will be jealous of the wife or trust in her; if he will care much for her or not. If the wife will be healthy or sick, and how many wives he will have. From which one he will have children, and also whether he will die before the wife or not. ¶ You will also be able to know well how the death of the native will be. If he will be killed by another or not; if he will die by himself naturally, or by a shameful death. If he dies in his own Land or in a foreign land. ¶ You will also be able to know his Journeys, and if he will travel or not. If the journeys will be by Land or by Sea, and if they will prosper or not, and at what time they will happen. Also whether he will do them openly or secretly, and for what causes, and if he will return from them to his own place or not. ¶ You will also be able to know the native's mastery and his lordship, whether he will have it from a King or not. Or if he will acquire loss or gain from the King, and how it will be with his King. Whether he will be powerful or not. If he dies in the Kingdom or outside the Kingdom. If he will acquire any Kingdom or House in his own Land or in a foreign one. And how he will obtain that Kingdom or Lordship. ¶ You will also be able to know the state of the native's Friends: whether they will be powerful or poor, or if he will lack friends, or if his friends will need him or he them. And if they will love him or not. If men will cherish his friendships or despise them. And if his friends will follow gain or loss from him, or he from them. ¶ You will also be able to know the state of his Enemies, and their multitude or fewness, their strength and weakness. And if he will incur loss from them or not, or if they will be strangers or kin.
