By the command of Shiva, she was appointed by the immortals during the confusion of the Shravana the month or the lunar mansion. || 20 || She is fiercely terrible, with a gaping mouth and large, frightening fangs. She is the destroyer of undertakings for the world, being filled with the flames of fire. || 21 ||

In the birth of donkeys or horses, in difficult forts, in worship, and in acts of charity, or in burning and striking, Bhadra is considered praised (auspicious); she is not beautiful (auspicious) in other matters. || 27 ||
