Experts understand the mixed nature of results through the calculation of the stars. The lords of the periods Dasha lords are as follows: the Sun 2, the Moon 3, Jupiter, and the Moon original: Chandra 6; Saturn 8, 7; Venus 8, Mars 9. These are the lords of the periods for wealth and other life effects. | 7 | Another Method:
One should determine the state of being through the three types of obstacles Vedha: astronomical interference or piercing of a point combined with the day of the week. From the lords of the cattle and the sun likely referring to the solar transit, starting from sunrise, the obstacles and other factors are weighed. | 8 | Heat, gain, hunger, courage, fame, and wealth; in a favorable state, the results of the Sun and others will manifest within half a "Nadi" Nadi: a measure of time equal to 24 minutes. | 9 | The "Vimshottari" The 120-year cycle system system determines the periods for life, wealth, and so on—this is the meaning of the planetary periods. Now, another method for calculating the periods of months and sub-periods is presented here with focus and form. Now, the periods for years and months follow the lunar mansions Nakshatras. Starting from the birth mansion up to the mansion of the solar transit Sankranti: | 1 | Multiply that number by the middle value and divide by nine. The remainder indicates the specific result as explained by the wise. | 2 | If the remainder is three, it is Rahu original: Simhikeya, "Son of Simhika"; if the remainder is four, it is Jupiter. If five, it is the Sun; if six, it is the Moon. | 3 | If seven, it is Saturn original: Anuja, the younger brother of Yama; if eight, it is the Moon likely a scribal variation for another planet. If the remainder is nine, it is Mercury—so say those who know the movements of Time. The sub-periods of the Vimshottari system divide the life into twenty parts... The solar monthly period is calculated by multiplying the birth mansion and the day of the transit, dividing by nine, and following the remaining planets until the entry of the next transit lord. This was stated previously.
Having spoken of the lords of the divisions and the previously mentioned forms of months, one calculates the periods and sub-periods of life. In order: the seven periods starting with the Sun, Moon, Rahu, and Jupiter as mentioned before. | 3 | Wealth In these stated monthly periods, one should always declare the results of the periods according to the direction of a single method. The results of the monthly periods are also described in detail in the Lamp of Star-Periods original: Udu-dasha-pradipika, a classic astrological text. Now behold hereafter, the calculation of years and months follows the sub-periods of the 120-year system Vimshottari. Following the order of the Krittika mansion and others, from the day of the year's commencement or the month's commencement, the period of Jupiter or others begins based on the Nakshatra. Mars The calculation of the elapsed portion of the year or month periods is done by taking the remaining minutes of the mansion, multiplying by the total period, and dividing by the total minutes of the mansion. The result is the "elapsed" period; the remainder is the "remaining" period to be experienced. By this method, one should refine the periods of years and calculate the life-span... The periods of years and months should be imagined within the 120-year system. The determination of results for the remainders will be discussed separately later in the expanded section.
