Singa Prabhu, Vennama Nayaka, and Reca¹ Singa became the king² after the death of Dacana. His brother Reca had a son named Nāgaya Nāyaka³ who held the title of Kuthārirāya⁴ original: "Kuthārirāya-biruda"; likely meaning "Lord of the Axe," a title of military prowess and who was also called Rāhuttarāya⁵ original: "Rāhuttarāya"; a title signifying a "Lord among troopers" or a cavalry commander. Singa Prabhu had two sons named Ananta and Mādhava⁶. This Mādhava had many sons⁷ of whom Vedagirīndra was the eldest⁸. The elder brother of Madhava, namely, Ananta, became known as Anapota also⁹. His wife was Annamāmbā¹⁰. They had two sons,¹¹ the elder was Devagirīs'vara¹² and the second was Singabhūpati¹³. He lived in his ancestral city of Rājācala¹⁴ Modern-day Rachakonda. His kingdom lay between the Vindhya mountains and the S'rīs'aila¹⁵.
