The Sun in the Eighth House
In the eighth house, the Lord of the Day original: vasarapaḥ; a title for the Sun produces a woman of middling status who loves her companions. Though she may lack good fortune, she wears many jewels and fine clothes; however, she is bold in her dress and lacks modesty. || 8 ||
The Sun in the Ninth House
Positioned in the house of righteousness Dharma: the 9th house, governing fortune and ethics, the Sun original: karaḥ, literally "the one with rays" produces a woman with excellent sons who is dear to her friends. Yet, she may lack general good fortune, be fond of wicked people, dress poorly, and be devoid of good qualities. || 9 ||
The Sun in the Tenth House
In the house of action Karma: the 10th house, representing social standing and duty, the Lord of the Day produces a woman devoted to false paths original: kudharma-raktāṃ and of a distorted or unattractive form. She has limited vision, a lethargic body, and is prone to deceit, often being excessively attached to others. || 10 ||
The Sun in the Eleventh House
Staying in the house of gains Lābha: the 11th house, the Lord of the Day original: dinesho makes a woman well-born, with many sons and grandsons. She has mastery over her senses, is skilled in all arts, is charitable, and is honored by her kinsmen. || 11 ||
The Sun in the Twelfth House
In the twelfth house, the house of loss original: dvādashage; literally "the twelfth-going", the Lord of the Day produces a woman lacking in modesty. She spends excessively, is prone to sinful acts, and is always a source of sorrow for her loved ones, lacking any sense of proportion. || 12 ||
Thus ends the results of the Sun.
The Moon in the First House
If the Moon is in the Ascendant the Lagna, or the first house during the bright fortnight original: shukla-pakshe; the waxing phase of the moon, it produces a woman with a very beautiful body. However, if influenced by cruel planets, she becomes lowly, sickly, and is seen during the day as constantly wearing dirty or tattered clothes. || 13 ||
The Moon in the Second House
The Cold-Rayed One the Moon in the house of wealth produces a woman of great learning and profound affection. She is aligned with righteousness, is as skilled as the "wishing tree" original: kalpa-dakṣāṃ; referring to the Kalpavriksha which grants all desires for her husband, and is well-regarded by everyone, never being lazy. || 14 ||
The Moon in the Third House
The Moon in the third house creates a woman

who speaks very harsh words. She has a stable nature, limbs that are as supple as a serpent, enjoys many pleasures, and is devoted to the gods and her teachers. || 15 ||
The Moon in the Fourth House
In the house of happiness Sukha: the 4th house, the Moon provides a woman with many good relatives, though she may not always be of good conduct or cheerful. She is generally well-behaved and devoted to priests and gods, though she may experience some hardship in becoming a mother. || 16 ||
The Moon in the Fifth House
Located in the house of children Suta: the 5th house, the Moon original: shītakaraḥ gives a woman excellent sons and great dignity. She is blessed with the happiness of offspring, is highly respected, and possesses a quick and beautiful form. || 17 ||
The Moon in the Sixth House
If the Moon stays in the house of enemies the 6th house, it makes her mind cruel and her appearance harsh, lacking in modesty. She has a fickle nature, her limbs may be scarred or injured, and she is sickly, thin, and dominated by darkness original: tāmasatāṃ; referring to Tamas, the quality of ignorance or lethargy. || 18 ||
The Moon in the Seventh House
The Moon in the house of setting the 7th house, governing marriage makes a woman wise, devoted to her husband, and endowed with righteousness and modesty. She has beautiful speech, is learned in the scriptures original: vit-vede, possesses beautiful eyes, and maintains a balanced mind. || 19 ||
The Moon in the Eighth House
In the eighth house, the Moon produces a woman with poor eyes, poorly formed breasts, and foul speech. She is devoid of good qualities, sickly in her conduct, and moves with an unusually rapid or unsteady gait. || 20 ||
The Moon in the Ninth House
The Moon in the house of righteousness the 9th house produces a woman with many daughters and a radiant glow. She is primarily defined by her beauty, is very fortunate, is dear to people of high status, and maintains her commitments. || 21 ||
The Moon in the Tenth House
The Cold-Rayed One in the house of action produces a woman who is highly learned and disciplined. She is observant, has the leadership qualities of a chief, is full of enthusiasm, devoted to merit, and possesses great strength of character. || 22 ||
The Moon in the Eleventh House
In the house of gains, the Moon makes a woman a mother of good sons, auspicious, and wise, with beautiful teeth.
