If Venusoriginal: Shukra, the Moon, and Mercuryoriginal: Sompa are without strength, and if Saturn original: Shanaishchara is endowed with great power, and if these are in an odd-numbered sign or ascendant, the woman will behave like a man in her nature. || 25 || If they are in an even-numbered ascendant, and are joined by the GuruJupiter, she will be a woman of excellent conduct, a seeker of truth, and shining with the knowledge of traditional scriptures. || 26 || Thus, the sages have declared the Female Horoscopyoriginal: Streejataka; the study of a woman's destiny based on her birth chart in great detail.

With a pure mind and wise intellect, one should understand the application of planetary strengths and combinations in the ascendant, as well as the positions of the planets and the Moon at the time of birth. || 27 || For both women and men, the results of birth are equal, yet here the specific results for women are explained. One should consider the father’s status and the family's prosperity. || 1 || Is it appropriate to speak of death and life together? The sages have declared it so. One’s birth and death are determined by the movement of the Moon original: Vidhu. || 2 || Through the horoscope, one knows of family, wealth, and the strength of the soul.
