One is protected by righteousness Dharma, and though there may be royal or sudden dangers, they are overcome during the ripening of the Sun’s period. If the Sun is poorly placed, there is distress to one’s faith and destruction of the father or paternal figures. || 2 ||
The period of the Sun original: Martanda provides moderate results if the planet is situated in an intermediate position. It may cause associations with lowly people, or great disputes with the twice-born original: dvijaih; the learned or priestly class. It brings separation from the wife and others, mental distress, and the departure of loved ones. There may be diseases caused by an imbalance of bile Pitta One of the three 'doshas' or humors in Indian medicine, associated with heat and fire, even if the person is wise and devoted to their duties. || 3 ||
If the Sun is in the house of fortune the ninth house, its period certainly causes one to live in a foreign land. During this time, the person—though perhaps having lotus-like eyes—may face dangers from kings, fire, or weapons, yet there will also be the coming of wealth.
