When Jupiter is in the third house and Venus is in the eighth house, || 23 || with planets situated continuously between them, he certainly becomes a king. If Jupiter is in Taurus, the Moon in Gemini, Mars in Capricorn, || 24 || Saturn in Leo, Mercury and the Sun in Virgo, and Venus in Libra, this Royal Union is formed. || 25 || A man born under this yoga becomes a Great King. If such a person lives past his eighth or twelfth year, || 26 || he then becomes a sovereign king and a protector of the world. When Jupiter alone is in the Ascendant, then all combinations become auspicious. || 27 || He becomes long-lived, highly honored, and a leader among soldiers. If Mars and Venus are in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Pisces, and Mercury in Libra, || 28 || while Saturn and the Moon are in their signs of debilitation, he becomes a king, though devoid of wealth. He will be a giver, an enjoyer, famous, and a respected leader of a province. || 29 ||
