The years of the current era are stated as 34. Now, here is the easy method: Take the elapsed months and multiply them by their own qualities original: "svagunair," likely referring to specific mathematical constants, then add the lunar days Tithi: a lunar day in the Hindu calendar, approximately 1/30th of a lunar month. The group should be divided by sixty; the resulting quotient is added to the calculation. One should then divide this by the desired number original: "kaamaih," often representing the number 13 in astronomical shorthand. The result provides the month of the year. The remainder indicates the number of months passed, and the final remainder gives the lunar day within that month. 36.

If the lunar day increases by eight from the day of Saturn Saturday, and does not match the expected calculation, then the month of the Sun's transition Sankranti: the passage of the Sun from one zodiac sign to another is considered. In such a case, an intercalary month an extra month added to the lunar calendar to sync with the solar year is produced. This entry of the months was declared by the great sages. 37.
