||1|| The creator original: "Dhata" places the pillars of the assembly hall; the sounds of elephants and horses resonate there. ||1|| The expansive forms of Vishnu original: "Vaikuntha" are established as the protectors of the heavens; they are declared to be the breath of the world, facing all directions, created by the Divine Architect.
The lords of the directions, including the Lord of the Waters Varuna and the Lord of Wealth Kubera, are positioned. The gods face the southern direction, while the curved form of the monkey-god Hanuman is established. ||2|| One should seek the paths in twenty-five divisions; in ancient times, the circular path was sixteen-fold. The wise practitioner should perform the work with focused action. ||1|| Whether the measurements are reduced or increased by the donor, the proportions must be maintained.
9 Ka Cubit The measurement of the hand original: "hasta" is the primary standard. 1|| The eleven forms are considered together with the corners; the Vidyadharas celestial beings are placed in the middle. There, one resides in happiness. The wise have declared the expansion of the Vi Machine/Diagram Hand Ayodhya and other cities. Between the two pillars, the Nagara style is established with a thousand units. Whether increased by five or decreased by five, this is the opinion on Vastu. ||9|| 9 || The 11 measurement of the diagram original: "yantra" is established according to the movement of the wheel. Nineteen for the three, and for the guardians of the directions, one should speak of eight cubits. ||1|| || Thus, the fruit-bearing trees and the fragrant woods should be planted near the royal residence and the temples of the gods.
With a cool mind, one should perform the work everywhere. The learned Shudras laboring class should be placed in the eight directions or in the center of the city. The merchants and Vaishyas trading class should be placed in various beautiful dwellings. ||1|| The colorful artisans, the washermen, and those who live by the wheel potters are positioned. The outcasts and those who perform religious duties, the hunters, and the vintners are placed at the edges. One should not build paths in the corners. In those corners, one should place parrots, step-wells, wells, or ponds, according to the Vastu rules. || || || 1|| The Lion-Gate original: "Simha-dara" and the wheel are four-sided; eight doors are to be made for the houses of the wealthy text? with beautiful panels. For the sake of fame, the palaces of kings, the temples of the gods, and the golden dwellings should be built near gardens and water reservoirs to delight the heart.
30 || || The Measurement of the City || || Where there is no fear of thieves or loss of life, where there is peace and the teaching of the immortals. These cities are built to give victory to kings and to provide safety from all enemies. 2 || From one hundred cubits down to nine, the measurements for the Brahmin dwellings are nine-fold. The elephant and the carriage are also measured in pairs of cubits. This is called the staff of punishment original: "danda". In the great palaces, the wise have fashioned the images of gods and demons for battle. ||22|| In the diagram, the expansion of the sun's rays is one cubit; the waist of the structure and the cage framework are twenty-six cubits in sequence.
