Giving all noble things, extending through the two meters original: "chhandasi," referring to Vedic poetic meters used as architectural proportions, the dwelling and the father are to be honored. A well-paired pavilion mandapa: a pillared hall or pavilion for rituals should be at the front, and likewise a pair to the south with three marks; one should be at the top, arising from the light of the sacrifice, thus it becomes a place of peace. 14
In the western part, there are two illuminators; in the southwest direction Nairrita: the direction of the southwest, governed by the deity Nirriti, the light arises, and thus it ascends to peace. 15
The dwelling in that place is equal to the gods; one should perform the six-fold circumambulation in the middle. 15 The manuscript repeats verse number 15. In the eastern direction, without the group, one should know the two paths; this is the great seat of the moon, where the pavilion should be joined with the steps. 16
In the eight directions, divided into three, one should construct the pavilion of great valor. This divine face, increasing majesty, should be considered as the remover of sorrow, belonging to the Moon Soma/North. 17
Its form is supreme and auspicious; again, the lion's roar of the phallus-born likely referring to a specific architectural style or Shiva-related symbolism is known by the wise in the circle of the funeral pyre kanka-preta?. 18
From the peaceful direction North-East, the houses are arranged toward the north;
18
as they are placed in order, the four pillars should be made according to the rules of the gods. 19 Thus, the king's glory is unified in a hundred thousand marks. 18 Numbering fluctuates in the original. Two-winged houses are built in the cloth-maker's style; two are for the sun, and again, one small one should be made for the two masters of the dwelling.
Corner
In whichever direction the small pillar stands, facing the two-fold center, one should speak of the house at the entrance as the most delicate. In the middle of the two-fold center, one should speak of the house at the entrance, or perhaps one small one. 21 In the ten directions, the three faces are surrounded by the sages; the pure liberation of the directions is achieved through this pavilion. 22
In all eight directions, one should place a wooden wheel in the center. In the middle of that wooden structure, a single small pillar should be fixed according to the measurement. 23 One small pillar in the eastern position, a staff for the pavilion; two in the north, and one well-paired in the light of the pavilions. 24 At the face, two in the north, and two in the western pavilion for the preservation of the banners. Oh, when the house is completed with these perfections, the gods call it a "paired pavilion."
In the happy pavilion, in the middle of the two, and in the fingers angula: a unit of measurement of those two, the three worlds are encompassed by twenty-six parts. 25
A pair at the face of the pavilion is desired by those who seek fulfillment. Even a single one in the place of peace is a "Direction-Hall" according to the teachings of Lord Vishwakarma Vishwakarma is the divine architect of the gods in Hindu mythology. There is no doubt that happiness resides here; it should be known as the two-fold path. In the pair, in the western direction, there stands a single pavilion.
