In the bright fortnight, the wise man should establish the VijayāntikāA specific type of auspicious pavilion or "victory-giver" structure, which is said to be born of the mountain's peak. It is constructed with a crest like a bird's wing. The height of the platform should be measured carefully; where the foundation is laid, the altar is placed according to the sacred knowledge. In that place, the lapis lazuli floor should be level and hidden from the wind, with the height of the platform rising from the base. || 4 ||

The bright steps should be in the front, held by the hand of the wise architect. One should perform the sprinkling of water with a joyful heart. In the hand, a discus or a hand-gesture original: "hasta-karī" is released, unshaken, like a golden fist. In the swiftness of the movement, the colors of the leopard, the pigeon, and the crow are seen. || 51 ||

The right hand radiates light like a cloud-holding wind. This diverse structure, known as the MohāLiterally "delusion" or "enchantment," likely referring to a labyrinthine or mesmerizing architectural feature, bestows wonder. It is said to be a place of play, three units in measure, where the sound of the lute and the flute resides, and the youth of the forest dwellers is celebrated. || 53 ||

In the royal residence, a bow-shaped hall is joined with a bell-tower. In the city, the lion-gate original: "siṃha-karṇa" is the doubt-free entrance to the palace. 26 Even if it is six stories high, decorated with jars and ornaments, the house should be entered with the right foot first. According to the world-renowned vision, the lower path is to be avoided. Thus ends the section on Royal Residences and related structures.

On the left side, a play-area for recreation should be made. The number of pillars is determined by the RākāThe full moon day and other lunar dates. In the middle of the theater, the sixth constellation is reached. In the center of the water-tank, an altar is won. These twenty-six measures are spread in the middle, and a well is gathered in the corners. This is the method to be followed in the water-hall for singers and dancers. || 54 ||

In that place, jasmine, the "mind-pleaser" original: "sumanas", and the forest-creeper should be planted. Equal to the jasmine are the KetakiScrew-pine, the white trumpet-flower, the orange, the oleander, and the VāsantiSpring-creeper with its beautiful blossoms. Also the citron, the jujube, the thunderbolt-flag original: "vajra-dhvaja", the honey-drinker bee-attracting plant, the rose-apple, and the Umā shrub. || 55 ||

The Lodhra, the plantain, the banyan, the sacred fig, the tamarind, the Ashoka, the Kadamba, and the Neem trees; the date palm and the pomegranate. The Karira, the Kimshuka, the "enemy of horses" original: "hayaripu" - Nerium oleander, the Punāga, the Vanjula, the Naga-creeper, the Tinduki, and the Langali. || 56 ||

Grapes, the three types of myrobalan, the Bakula, and the Karakā should be planted in the groves. Creepers and the Tamāla tree, the Mālatī, and the Pārijāta The celestial coral tree. Near these, various branches with blooming flowers should be planted. Having heard this, the wise man should plant the trees on level ground for the sake of beauty.
