In the bright fortnight, the wise man should establish the VijayāntikāA specific type of auspicious pavilion or "victory-giver" structure, which is said to be born of the mountain's peak. It is constructed with a crest like a bird's wing. The height of the platform should be measured carefully; where the foundation is laid, the altar is placed according to the sacred knowledge. In that place, the lapis lazuli floor should be level and hidden from the wind, with the height of the platform rising from the base. || 4 ||
The bright steps should be in the front, held by the hand of the wise architect. One should perform the sprinkling of water with a joyful heart. In the hand, a discus or a hand-gesture original: "hasta-karī" is released, unshaken, like a golden fist. In the swiftness of the movement, the colors of the leopard, the pigeon, and the crow are seen. || 51 ||
The right hand radiates light like a cloud-holding wind. This diverse structure, known as the MohāLiterally "delusion" or "enchantment," likely referring to a labyrinthine or mesmerizing architectural feature, bestows wonder. It is said to be a place of play, three units in measure, where the sound of the lute and the flute resides, and the youth of the forest dwellers is celebrated. || 53 ||
In the royal residence, a bow-shaped hall is joined with a bell-tower. The Lodhra, the plantain, the banyan, the sacred fig, the tamarind, the Ashoka, the Kadamba, and the Neem trees; the date palm and the pomegranate. The Karira, the Kimshuka, the "enemy of horses" original: "hayaripu" - Nerium oleander, the Punāga, the Vanjula, the Naga-creeper, the Tinduki, and the Langali. || 56 ||
