## Salutations to the Illustrious Lord Ganesha

This book of Dharma concerning the limbs of time is for the benefit of good people, destroying even the smallest sins. The calculation of the birth month, the lunar day, and the solar day must be observed. || Seven years should not be purified likely referring to a specific cycle of purification or calculation by one who knows the details. The transition of the sun Sankramana: the movement of the sun from one zodiac sign to another and the months should be understood by the wise. This is suitable for all ritual actions... || 7 || Six, nine, eight, and five... || In the yoga named Vyaghata one of the 27 astrological yogas, usually considered inauspicious, as well as Dhriti... one should act with humility. || 9 || ...through the increase of these, the directions are conquered... thus ends the section on the knowledge of the Yogas.
