Take the Shaka era year The traditional Indian calendar system starting in 78 CE, add twelve (12), and divide by sixty (60). The remainder is the year known in the regions south of the Narmada River. If one adds nine (9) to that same remainder, it is declared as the year according to the Jupiterian cycle term: Brihaspati Chakra (the 60-year cycle of Jupiter) in other regions. (3)
Now, the sixty years are described according to the six verses spoken by the sage Narada:
Prabhava, Vibhava, Shukla, Pramoda, Prajapati, Angira, Shrimukha, Bhava, Yuva, and Dhata. (4)
