Treatise on Divination by Omens

Oh beloved friend, keep another person as a consultant,
And contemplate the matter you have in mind.

(Explanation): Your mental anxiety will be resolved. The matter you considered while at home will be successful; furthermore, consult properly with another person before proceeding. (30)

Listen to the reason for touching
This sought-after number, two hundred and forty-three:
Whatever profession or work you undertake,
There shall be no lack; you will possess bodily health.
You will obtain a job of enduring fame, father,
And see that the matters you thought of turn in your favor.
We sing that you shall have the wealth of children;
Believe in the wisdom of Sahadeva among the Pandavas. Sahadeva was the youngest of the five Pandava brothers in the Indian epic, the Mahabharata. He was traditionally credited with profound knowledge of astrology and the ability to see the future.

(Explanation): The result of the sign you touched is that you will be blessed with children puthira bhakkiyam|The merit or fortune of having offspring. You will obtain employment. You will gain wealth thana labam|Financial profit or the acquisition of riches. Whatever work you do will be successful. Do not lose courage. Believe; this is an excellent sign. (31)

O Kingly one, listen to the excellence of why
You touched number two hundred and forty-four on this earth:
The intention you held in your mind will be fulfilled,
But importantly, do not trust a friend.
There is no poverty here, father; do not fear.
You shall live as wealth increases greatly in this world.
Even if you engage in work with great energy,
Comfort will follow, and your business will flourish.
