The table uses medieval Arabic numerals where 4 resembles a crossed loop, 5 resembles a lowercase 'h', 7 is a caret (Λ), and 9 has a long cursive tail. Red ink (rubrication) is used for headers and the dominical letter 'a', marking Sundays. The columns provide solar altitudes (alti solis) and human shadow lengths (Umbra hois) in feet (pedes) and parts (ptes) for various times of the day (8 AM/4 PM, 9 AM/3 PM, 10 AM/2 PM).
