Understand this. Similarly, count the lotus seeds Kamalgatta; dried seeds of the lotus flower often used in prayer beads or divination from the second handful and divide that number by seven. Whatever remains should be understood as the number of the Sasak; a specific grouping or sub-section within this divination system within the previously determined Canto. If there is no remainder, consider it the seventh Sasak of that Canto. Now, count the lotus seeds from the third handful and divide that number by seven. The remainder is the number of the Doha; a traditional rhyming couplet in Hindi poetry within that identified Sasak. If nothing remains, consider it the seventh Doha of that Sasak. Now, open the book and look up that specific Doha of that Sasak in that Canto, and interpret the result of your question according to that couplet.
For example, if the first handful of lotus seeds counted 17, dividing by seven leaves a remainder of 3; this indicates the third Canto of the book. Counting the second handful yielded 25. Dividing this by seven leaves four; this indicates the Sasak. Counting the third handful yielded 27. Dividing this number by seven leaves a remainder of 6, which is the number of the Doha. Now, looking in the book for the sixth Doha of the fourth Sasak of the third Canto, we find this couplet—

Three circles Chakra; literally 'wheel' or 'circle', here referring to the divination diagrams are given above, each containing seven numbers. Place your finger once on each of the three circles. The number your finger lands on in the first circle is the Canto number; the number in the second circle is the Sasak number; and the number in the third circle is the Doha number.
For example, the finger landed on 4 in the first circle, 6 in the second, and 7 in the third. Now, look for the seventh Doha of the sixth Sasak of the fourth Canto in the book. That couplet is—
