Bringing the Teacher of Gods, the Guru, Sita, Rama, Ganesha, and the Goddess of Speech into the heart.
Whatever is done will be auspicious, and mines of great joy shall open. || 5 ||

By meditating in the heart upon Brihaspati (the Guru of the Gods), the Guru, Lady Janaki (Sita), Lord Rama, Lord Ganesha, and Goddess Saraswati, whatever action is undertaken will have a favorable outcome, and "mines of auspiciousness" will open (meaning constant well-being will follow). || 5 || (Success is indicated for all types of inquiries.)

Remembering Venus, the Guru, Sharada, Ganesha, Lakshmana, and Hanuman.

In King Dasharatha's reign there was no fear of calamity, nor grief, sin, or famine.
The subjects were delighted and all were happy; there was always joy and plenty. || 1 ||

In the kingdom of King Dasharatha, there was no fear of Iti original: "ईति" - refers to the six traditional calamities: excessive rain, drought, locusts, rats, birds, and invasion (excessive rain, drought, plagues of locusts, rats, or parrots, and attacks by enemy kings), nor was there fear of sorrow, sin, or famine. All the subjects were happy, every kind of comfort existed, and it was always a time of "Sukal" (abundance). || 1 || (If the inquiry is regarding fear or recovery from illness, that fear or illness will be removed.)

Bowing the head at Kausalya's feet, remembering Sumitra's feet.
Perform your work with auspicious skill; Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva will be your helpers. || 2 ||

By the turn of fate, while hunting in the forest, the blind sage gave a curse.
Hearing this, there was great misfortune and sorrow; the subjects felt grief and suffering. || 3 ||
