Begin your journey by remembering Lord Rama and Lakshmana along with the sage Vishwamitra. You will attain good fame, victory, and wealth in this world. This is an authentic auspicious omen. || 4 || (The result of the inquiry is auspicious.)
Bring the lotus-feet of Lord Rama—the protector of the Sage Vishwamitra's YajnaA ritual sacrifice or offering performed in front of a sacred fire.—into your heart. Cast away your worries; the crisis will be averted. Consider this omen as truth within your mind. || 5 || (If the inquiry concerns the removal of distress, it shall be removed.)
By turning away from Lord Rama, there is loss, death, poverty, and suffering in every stage—beginning, end, and middle. (Observe how) the lowly NishacharaLiterally "night-walkers," referring to demons or Rakshasas. were destroyed by their own sins because they were averse to Rama. || 6 || (The result of the inquiry indicates misfortune.)
Remember the feet (of Lord Raghunath) that liberated Ahalya from the curse that had turned her into a stone. Ahalya was turned to stone by a curse and was restored to human form by the touch of Rama's feet. Tulsidas says: cast away your worry, the crisis will end, and the hope of your heart will be fulfilled. || 7 || (The result of the inquiry is auspicious.)
