Lord Raghunath A title for Rama, meaning "Lord of the Raghu dynasty", along with Shri Lakshmana and Shri Janaki Sita, met the great sage Agastya. Tulsidas says that the company of holy men will bring happiness, and their sight darshan will ensure the success of auspicious works. || 7 ||
Upon hearing the sage's command, the Lord made his beautiful residence at Panchavati.
The earth became holy by the touch of his feet, and all comforts were established there. || 1 ||
Having received the command of the sage (Agastya), Lord Rama resided in the beautiful Panchavati. By the touch of his holy feet, that land (the cursed Dandaka forest) became sanctified, and all kinds of comforts and facilities were established there. || 1 || (The omen indicates that distress will vanish and happiness will follow.)
The rivers and lakes remained full of water, with many-colored lotuses blooming in abundance.

Trees and vines bloom and bear fruit, and a cool, pleasant breeze blows.
The birds, deer, and swarms of bees are joyful, for the two heroes are now the protectors of the forest. || 3 ||
The trees and creepers are flowering and fruiting; a comforting cool breeze flows; birds, animals, and bees are in bliss because both brothers (Rama and Lakshmana) are now the protectors of the forest. || 3 || (The result of the inquiry is excellent.)
The Godavari river is a source of joy, and the forest is pleasant at all times.
Fearless, the sages perform their prayers and penance, for the compassionate Rama is their protector. || 4 ||
The Godavari river is joy-giving and the forest is pleasant in every season. Now, with the compassionate Rama as their protector, the groups of sages perform their chanting and penance without fear. || 4 || (Spiritual practices and worship will succeed without obstacles.)
The King of Raghus met the Vulture, with joy in the hearts of both sides.
The servant found a noble master, and the master found a noble servant. || 5 ||
Upon the meeting of Lord Raghunath and the Vulture King Jatayu, there was joy in the hearts of both; the noble master (Rama) was happy to find a servant (Jatayu), and the noble servant was happy to find a master. || 5 || (The result for questions regarding service and devotion is auspicious.)
The sons of sages read and teach the scriptures, Vedas, and Puranas.
Know this to be a favorable time for the gain of noble knowledge and omens. || 6 ||
