The descriptions of the three types of Gandanta critical transitional points between lunar mansions or zodiac signs, the Ganda defects, the classifications of the Nakshatras lunar mansions, charitable giving, the pacification rituals for Jyeshtha, Revati, and Ganda, the results of being born under the quarters of Jyeshtha, and the pacification of harmful astrological combinations—namely Vyatipata, Vaidhriti, and the Sankranti the sun's transition into a new sign—have been provided. Furthermore, the pacification rituals for births occurring during Kuhu new moon, Sinivali the day when the moon is first visible, the Darsha conjunction of sun and moon rituals, the pacification for births on the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight, the rituals for siblings born under the same star, the pacification of birth abnormalities, and the rituals for births during solar and lunar eclipses have been described. By performing these pacification rituals, the ill effects surrounding a girl are removed and auspicious results are obtained.
