Death will occur.
Chandra Nakshatra Gandanta (Moon-Star Knot), Lagna Nakshatra Gandanta (Ascendant-Star Knot), and Tithi Ganda (Lunar Day Knot).
Chandra Nakshatra Ganda: If the Moon is in the final degrees (the 30th degree) of the signs Pisces, Cancer, or Scorpio, it is Chandra Nakshatra Ganda. Similarly, if the Moon is in the first degree of Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, it is considered a Ganda.
Lagna Ganda: If birth occurs in the 30th degree of the Pisces, Cancer, or Scorpio Ascendants, or in the first degree of the Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius Ascendants, it is Lagna Ganda.
Tithi Ganda: At the end of a "Full" lunar day and the start of a "Nanda" lunar day, one Ghadia A traditional unit of time equal to 24 minutes. is inauspicious. This is called Tithi Ganda. The 1st, 6th, and 11th lunar days (Prathama, Shashti, Ekadashi) are Nanda Tithis. If birth occurs in the first Ghadia of these days, it is Tithi Ganda. Similarly, the final Ghadias of the 5th, 10th, 15th (Full Moon), and 30th (New Moon) lunar days are Tithi Gandantas.
If a child is born in these three Gandas, there is a fear of death. However, if the person born in these Gandas survives, they will become wealthy.
From the time the sun's disk is half-set, evening twilight lasts for three Ghadias.
Similarly, before the sun's disk rises, morning twilight lasts for three Ghadias. 7
Original Sanskrit: "Ravestamandlardhastat sayam sandhyatrinadika / Tadvadvardhodayat purvam pratah sandhya trinadika"
The period from three Ghadias before sunrise until the sun rises on the eastern horizon is called Morning Twilight. The period for three Ghadias after the sun has half-set is Evening Twilight.
If the Ascendant is the sign of the Scorpion (Scorpio), with malefic planets in the first half and benefic planets in the second half of the cycle, death occurs; there is no doubt about this. 8
Original Sanskrit: "Chakrapurva parardheshu krura saumyeshu kitabe / Lagnage nidhanam yati natrakarya vicharana"
If the Ascendant is Scorpio, and there is a malefic planet in the first half and a benefic planet in the second half, it results in the death of the native. The Telugu text later suggests "wealth" (dhana) in the prose explanation, but the Sanskrit verse and the section heading "Arishta" (affliction/misfortune) clearly indicate "death" (nidhanam).
An Ascendant consists of 30 degrees. The first fifteen degrees are the first half, and the next fifteen degrees are the second half.
For example, if the Ascendant begins at 10 degrees in Scorpio, the first half of the Ascendant lasts until 25 degrees of Scorpio, and the second half of the Ascendant lasts until 10 degrees of Sagittarius.
For example, if the Ascendant begins at 10 degrees in Scorpio, the first half of the Ascendant lasts until 25 degrees of Scorpio, and the second half of the Ascendant lasts until 10 degrees of Sagittarius. This paragraph is repeated in the original manuscript.
