As stated by Bhattotpala A famous 10th-century commentator on astrological texts: "In a movable sign it is the opposite, or mixed; in the first half of the rising sign it is like a fixed sign, and in the latter half like a movable sign." It rises unevenly, is hot by nature, has moderate offspring and moderate contact with women, dwells in the forest, is of the servant class term: Shudra; the fourth social class, has a long sound loud voice, is oily/smooth, and is strong during the day.
