The weekday, the lunar day Tithi, the auspicious moment Muhurta, and the planetary divisions—this alignment, named the Five-fold Auspiciousness original: "Pancha-Kalyana", was spoken by the Sage Gargya a legendary ancient astronomer-sage and is the source of fulfillment for all types of work. || 20 ||
The constellations Nakshatra of Uttara-Ashadha, Shravana, Dhanishta, Shatabhisha, Purva-Bhadrapada, Uttara-Bhadrapada, and Revati; likewise Rohini, Mrigashira, Punarvasu, Pushya, Ashlesha, Magha, Purva-Phalguni, Uttara-Phalguni, Hasta, Chitra, Swati, Vishakha, and Anuradha. || 21 ||
When the constellations of Anuradha, Ashvini, Swati, Rohini, Punarvasu, Mula, Magha, Revati, and the three "Ardra" stars referring to Ardra, Swati, and Shatabhisha align with their respective auspicious weekdays, they produce Auspicious Success original: "Shubha Siddhi". || 22 ||
On Thursday, when Mula, Hasta, Chitra, Magha, Ardra, or Shravana occur; on Sunday, when Ashvini, Vishakha, Purva-Phalguni, or Rohini occur; or when Chitra, Krittika, or Anuradha align with the appropriate lunar days: || 23 ||
The thirteenth lunar day, combined with the constellations of Purva-Ashadha, Krittika, Purva-Phalguni, Shatabhisha, and Swati, creates the Nectar-like Alignments original: "Amrita Yoga", provided they are joined with the auspicious lunar days known as "Nanda" and "Bhadra" the 1st, 6th, 11th and 2nd, 7th, 12th days respectively. || 24 ||
These alignments on specific weekdays are known as Bliss original: "Ananda", Auspicious original: "Bhadra", Victorious original: "Jaya", and the Perfected original: "Siddhi" for Jupiter; these alignments are described for all auspicious works. || 25 || When these occur on the days of the Sun or the Moon, they are especially powerful in granting success. || 26 ||
By calculating using the numbers twenty-one, twenty-two, sixteen, twenty-four, and others this refers to a mathematical formula for finding specific time-points within a constellation's duration, one finds the second part of the constellation’s duration which is like nectar original: "Amritam". || 27 ||
These Nectar Intervals original: "Amrita Ghatika" should be selected for all auspicious ceremonies, just as one would choose an auspicious alignment. However, in the case of treating diseases or administering medicines involving poisons, this advice should be applied differently suggesting that "poisonous" moments might actually be utilized for purgatives or specific cures. || 28 ||
When the Moon Shashi, the ruler of the sign where the Moon is placed, and the ruler of the Ascendant Lagna are all three strong and aspected by benefic planets, that time is considered to be of the highest quality and virtue. || 29 ||
After considering the positions of the planets at the time of the practitioner's birth and following the rules for the constellations, one should perform their duties—whether for a King, or regarding the night, the month, or the planetary states—by avoiding the "Broken Alignments" original: "Varddha Yoga". || 30 ||
