21 The sage Gargya says that signs and omens, the life-force, and—for all worldly tasks—the word of a Brahmin priestly class is like the word of Lord Vishnu himself. || 31 ||
Just as a seeker approaches the light of knowledge, one who is authorized should worship the deity and the Guru with excellent mantras. An auspicious moment Muhurta obtained through such worship brings success to men; otherwise, it shall be the opposite. || 32 ||
Success is always attained by those devoted to the worship of the gods. Whatever fruit the astrologer Muhurtaka—who knows the relative strength and weakness of the qualities and defects—predicts for that moment, that is true; it is spoken like the words of a sage and is never false. || 33 ||
