...should know. ॥ 64 ॥ The establishment of the sacred fire original: "Agnyadhana" for a person should be performed when the Sun original: "Ravi", Moon original: "Soma", Jupiter original: "Guru", and Venus original: "Shukra" are located in the quadrants Kendra; the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses of a birth chart or the trines Trikona; the 5th and 9th houses, which are auspicious. When Mercury original: "Budha", Venus, Saturn original: "Shani", and Rahu the north node of the moon are in the "upachaya" positions Upachaya; houses 3, 6, 10, and 11, which signify growth, they grant auspicious results. When the Moon is in Aries or Scorpio original: "Mesha-stri", it is destroyed; when Mars original: "Kuja" is in its own sign, there is progress. In the remaining signs, it is considered a house-dweller. One should not perform the child-naming ceremony original: "suta-savya" when planets are weak or defeated, or when the master of the house has a planet in the eighth house or when a planet is combust Astangata; a planet rendered invisible by being too close to the Sun. Or when Jupiter is in the ascendant, or when the Moon is in the 3rd, 6th, or 11th house, or when the Sun is in the 7th house. ॥ 10 ॥ If Mars is in the 3rd, 6th, or 11th house, it is auspicious. ॥ 65 ॥ At the time of establishing the fire, if Jupiter, Mars, or the Moon are in their signs of debilitation, defeated, in enemy signs, or combust, one should never perform the ritual. When Jupiter is in the ascendant, Mars is in Aries, or the Moon is in the 7th or 10th houses, and the Sun is in the 3rd, 6th, or 11th houses, the initiation should be performed.

The construction of a workshop original: "Karma-shala" or house is recommended in the bright half of Margashirsha November-December, Vaishakha April-May, Pausha December-January, or Phalguna February-March. One should calculate the house’s destiny using the "Ghat-hari" pot and lion method based on the stars. ॥ 66 ॥ The beginning of a new house original: "Nutana Griha Rambha" should be performed in the months of Shravana, Margashirsha, Vaishakha, and Phalguna. Construction in other months may lead to the loss of intellect or wealth. The direction of the house should be determined by the position of the Moon. Specifically, when the Sun is in Aries, Scorpio, Libra, or Taurus, the house should face South or North.

In the signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, house construction should never be undertaken as it leads to instability. The income Aya; a Vastu calculation for prosperity of the house is determined by multiplying the length and width of the structure and then dividing by eight. Among these, the Flag, Bull, and Elephant are considered the most auspicious; the others are forbidden or secondary. The Flag-Aya house can face any direction, but the Elephant-Aya should face South or East.

This is used to determine the wealth or debt of the house. ॥ 68 ॥ The width multiplied by the "Aya" factor gives the Nakshatra. For the West, multiply by two and divide by seven to know the star. Just as one matches a bride and groom, the master of the house and the house itself must be compatible in their planetary lords and star signs. ॥ 69 ॥ The star of the house and the star of the master should be analyzed like a marriage.
