From the mouth, the arms, the thighs, and the feet; these planets were honored [in that order]. Some are tall, some are short, some are children, and some are slightly larger. 22.
Middle-aged, young, and those who are elderly; these are remembered in their respective order. [The lineages are] Kashyapa, Atri, Bharadwaja, Atreya, and Angirasa The text lists the primary ancestral lineages assigned to the planets for ritual purposes. 23. Kauravya, Kashyapa, and the lineage of Jaimini follow in sequence. The Sun original: "Arka" was born in the Kalinga region ancient Odisha, and the Moon in the lands of the Yamuna. 24.
Mars original: "Angaraka" was born in Avanti modern-day Ujjain; Mercury is remembered as being from Kosala. Jupiter was born in the Sindh region, and Venus is remembered as being from Bhojakata. 25
