Jupiter original: Guru is associated with Uttara Phalguni; Venus original: Shukra with Pushya; Saturn original: Shanaishchara is known to be in Rohini; and Rahu is said to be at the peak original: shikha of the human form. ॥ 25 ॥

All the Ketus the descending lunar nodes or comets should be understood in order, according to the forms of the planets: tawny, reddish-brown, smoke-colored, and pale yellow. ॥ 26 ॥

The "crested one" Shikhi, another name for Ketu, the one with the pale-red banner, the one of great splendor, and the fire-colored one. Jupiter is a Brahmin the priestly class; the Prince Mercury, the Sun, and the Son of Earth Mars are Kshatriyas the warrior and ruling class. ॥ 27 ॥

The Moon is a Vaishya the merchant class, along with Mercury; the remaining planets are Shudras the laboring class. The patron of the ritual original: Yajamana, together with his wife, should perform the cleansing and the worship. ॥ 28 ॥

With scents and other offerings, and with a mind filled with devotion, the offerings should be presented, including garments, flowers, and ointments. ॥ 29 ॥

Equipped with a single skin likely a deer skin, or with silk and various fabrics, a nine-wick lamp should be provided, filled to the brim with clarified butter ghee. ॥ 30 ॥

Offer red oleander, and likewise safflower, Champaka, Ketaki, Jasmine, and Shami flowers. ॥ 31 ॥

The Agastya flower is also mentioned, and various other flowers in sequence.

Jaggery-rice, milk-porridge, sacrificial food, and six-day-old milk or milk from a specific cow. ॥ 32 ॥

Curd-rice, sacrificial offerings, cleansing materials, and various types of colored rice. Grapes, sugarcane, betel nut, oranges, citron, and pomegranate. ॥ 33 ॥

Coconut, and pomegranates in their proper order. Other protective foods, betel nut, and leaves should then be given. ॥ 34 ॥

Edible foods, snacks, and fruits should be offered: a leaf, a flower, a fruit, water, and various types of jewels. ॥ 35 ॥

"Whatever has been given through this planetary duty, grant me the desired fruit. The Sun and all the planets are established here. This water offering original: arghya is given by me; salutations, salutations!" ॥ 36 ॥ 37 ॥

"Grant me long life, knowledge, and wealth; grant me fame and abundant valor. Grant me sons, grant me happiness, and grant all my desires." ॥ 38 ॥

Arka Copperleaf, Palasha Flame of the Forest, Khadira Cutch tree, Apamarga Prickly Chaff, Pippala Sacred Fig, Udumbara Cluster Fig, Shami Cutch tree variety, Durva Bermuda grass, and Kusha Sacred grass are the sacred fuel sticks original: samidh in their respective order. ॥ 39 ॥

All these should be prepared by those who know the heart of the planetary ritual.
