The Rise of the Essence of Breath

Desire, anger, greed, delusion, and malice; these are said to be the five qualities of the Ether element Ākāśa Tattva|The element of space or void, the most subtle of the five. As heard: These are illuminated through the Knowledge of the Absolute original: "Brahma-jñāna". [44]

In the East, West, South, and North-east respectively, one should point out the forms of the Warrior class Kshatriya|The social class of rulers and warriors and others as being the most powerful. [45]

On Enemies and the Three Periods of Time

Now, I shall declare the Rising of the Breath Swarodaya|The science of predicting results based on the flow of breath through the nostrils in relation to enemies. Through the nature of the breath's flow, one gains knowledge of the three periods of time the past, present, and future. [46]

This essence is more secret than the most secret; it brings benefit and light. This Knowledge of the Breath is the jewel upon the head of all knowledge. [47]

It should be given to the peaceful, the pure, the virtuous, those whose minds are devoted solely to their Teacher original: "Guru", the firm-minded, and those knowledgeable in their lineage. To them, the Rising of the Breath should be given. [50]
