Victory is achieved through the element of Fire Agni Tattva|The fire element within the breath, associated with heat and transformation and the element of Air Vayu Tattva|The air element, associated with movement and speed. [74] When the breath rises in the left channel Ida Nadi|The lunar channel on the left side of the body, usually associated with calm and nourishing activities, one should move toward the left. If the flow of breath is pleasant and forward-facing, and then moves toward the right, victory is assured. [75]
The Moon representing the left breath governs the North and East directions, while the Sun representing the right breath governs the South and West. If the left breath is obstructed or if the breath is improperly situated in the North, or if the breath is in the right channel during a movement to the South-West, an injury or defeat original: "ghatam" is certain. In such a state, all undertakings lead to destruction. [76]
8 For tasks to be performed behind one's back, both the Moon and the Sun the two main breath channels must be considered. The Moon should never be in a retrograde or crooked position. [78] One should recognize the presence of the Sun during a journey original: "yatra". If blood is seen flowing at the time of departure, or if a dull-witted person asks a question at that moment, one must recognize that a blow or defeat is imminent. In such fearful or "empty" conditions, one should predict an injury. Even a slight tremor in the breath indicates a coming blow.
