Fortune 4 ...having obtained... 3 that
... the auspicious lunar day Tithi is explained. Starting from the very first day Pratipada, the first group is named "Joyful" original: Nanda.
5 In the proper sequence... 3 4 ...the lunar days ending with the fifteenth Panchadashi the Full Moon or New Moon. Their fruits and results are exactly as their names imply.
These were declared for the benefit of mankind by the Great Sages. ॥ 6 ॥
On the "Joyful" Nanda days, one should conduct colorful festivals, manage looms or fields original: tantra-kshetra; referring to both weaving and agriculture, and likewise perform dances.
Weddings, matters concerning kings, and the preparation of ceremonial carts or banners—these tasks are successfully completed on "Joyful" days. ॥ 7 ॥
On the "Victorious" Jaya days, activities involving battle or the use of physical strength
Shiva 4 reach their successful conclusion once they are begun.
On the "Empty" Rikta days, works involving cunning, killing, striking, or the use of weapons reach their fulfillment.
