May He, who delights like a swan playing in the service of the honorable, having accepted the lotus-bud of the devotee's heart, grant all desires in their entirety with special joy and brilliance. 9
May the Sun, the jewel of the day Divamani; a common poetic name for the Sun, and the Moon, the treasury of lovely rays and arts, grant auspiciousness. May Mercury, the son of the Moon The text reads "Lakshmidutanayo," likely a poetic reference to Mercury's birth from the Moon (Soma). Mercury is known as "Budha," the planet of intellect., and Jupiter, the giver of wisdom and long life, be favorable. 10
