For medical procedures involving purgatives and emetics treatments meant to induce vomiting or cleansing of the bowels; original: "vireka-vāntir", the days of Mercury Wednesday and Saturn Saturday are suitable, while Tuesdays should be avoided. These treatments are best performed under Mrigashira, Anuradha, Pushya, Shatabhisha, Hasta, and Shravana.
Regarding bathing after a snake bite original: "sarpadaṃṣṭrasnānam": the stars Mula, Magha, Vishakha, Krittika, Bharani, and Ashlesha original: "bhujaga" are significant. Ritual cleansing also pertains to Rohini, the Uttara triad, Ashlesha, and Krittika. 35
