This leaf shows signs of natural aging, including faint foxing small brown spots caused by oxidation or mold over time and slight discoloration along the edges. Such blank pages are commonly found at the beginning and end of traditional Indian manuscripts; they acted as a buffer to protect the internal ink and paper from environmental damage and handling.
