The letter A original: "A-kara" is first, then I, and U is the third. The letter E is the fourth, O Goddess of the Gods, and O is the fifth. These five vowels are proclaimed as those by which the entire world is pervaded.
The elements bhutas; the five great elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space, such as Earth and the others, are declared to reside in these for embodied beings. Smell, taste, form original: "rupa", transcribed here as "gayo" (likely gandha) and "rasa", sound, and touch are remembered in this sequence Each vowel corresponds to an element and its sensory quality: A/Earth/Smell, I/Water/Taste, U/Fire/Sight, E/Air/Touch, O/Space/Sound. These five vowels, O Great Goddess, are the illuminators of all actions. Five long vowels Ā, Ī, Ū, Ai, Au are also proclaimed following the sequence of these short ones.
The consonants, from Ka to Ha, are declared in the grouping. In the division between the bright waxing and dark waning fortnights, they arise, O Beautiful One. The vowel should be known through the sequence of letters and lunar days in the grouping.
In the bright fortnight, the long vowels are rotated three times along with the accompanying syllables. The lunar days tithis; the 30 lunar phases of a month, starting with the first day Pratipada and ending with the full moon, should be known in order. The Nandā The first, sixth, and eleventh lunar days are called "Nandā" (Joyous) and all the other categories are also rotated three times throughout the lunar days.
The vowels A, Ṛ, Ḷ, and Ḷ The vocalic liquids are assigned among the consonants Ḍa, Jña, and Ṇa. Among the consonants, the short vowels are rotated three times along with the syllables. The lunar days, starting with the first, are joined with their specific names. For each and every name...
