When the Lord of the Tenth House original: daśamapatau; the 10th house governs career, public status, and the "sky" or zenith of the chart is located in the Ascendant original: lagnagate; the First House or the self:

When the Lord of the Sky original: gaganapatau; the 10th Lord is in the Fifth House original: tanayagate; the House of Children/Intelligence, the mother is well-protected. 5
When the Lord of the Sky is in the Sixth House original: ripu saṃsthe; the House of Enemies/Obstacles, or if joined by a malefic planet, he suffers even from small things. The mother may be distressed or attached to another. 6 If the placement is auspicious, he is associated with the king and possesses children; he remains the constant beloved of his mother, who is eager to cherish and protect him.
When the Lord of the Sky enters the Seventh House original: dayitā gate 7; the House of Spouses, the person is devoted to his partner. If the Lord of the Tenth is in the Eighth House original: 8 and is influenced by the Sun or a malefic, it causes great suffering to the mother and the person may live as a cheat or a gambler original: kitavam.
