Among men, one who possesses the qualities of a lion or a deer should be designated as a possessor of wealth. A man of such action becomes a king raja, or becomes a possessor of great wealth and good fortune saubhagya. These are the characteristics of the Rabbit type original: "shasha-lakshane"; in traditional Indian literature, the 'Rabbit-man' is one of the four categories of men, known for being gentle and virtuous in the context of sexual union rati.

Now, regarding the man whose hand is joined with specific lines. If [these auspicious marks] are found on the left hand or both, he is born to be a universal monarch chakravarti literally "one whose wheels are moving," meaning a ruler whose influence is unopposed.
A mark of a pearl mukta brings good fortune among people, and a mark resembling a fish meena is associated [with prosperity]. Whether the mark is shaped like the Shrivatsa original: "Shrivatsa"; an ancient auspicious symbol meaning "beloved of Sri," often depicted as a mark on the chest of the god Vishnu, a cow, a laugh, a goad ankusha, or a parasol chatra...
He who has a mark resembling the Karu-nikara flower likely referring to the Karnikara or Nerium oleander on his palm is a "Lord of Wealth" shripatih.
One whose hand possesses the marks of the Spear shakti, the Javelin tomara, the Thunderbolt vajra, the Bow dhanu, the Wheel chakra, or the Mace gada—if these are present on the hand, he is destined to be a ruler of the earth. 4
With two barley-corn marks forming a chain yava-mala a "mala" or garland of "yava" (barley) shapes usually found on the thumb or joints of the fingers, one becomes a royal minister, wealthy, and wise. Even with a single barley-shaped mark, a man is considered excellent.
