If there are two lines on the forehead, one lives for twenty years; if there are seven lines, the life span is also said to be twenty years. This refers to a specific system of calculating longevity based on the number of horizontal creases.
However, it should be known that one with a single line across the forehead lives for twenty-five years. One who possesses five lines on the forehead that reach as far as the ears original: "samākarṇita gocaraḥ" is particularly distinguished. If these three lines are very deep, one should understand their effects individually.

A man whose hair is crooked, split, or coarse is considered an inferior person. Such a man should be known as one who is destined for a life of sorrow.
