If [Jupiter] resides in the house of the body the 1st house or Ascendant, the mother lives, but if the Moon is in the twelfth house, she does not survive. If the planets are well-placed here, then welfare and prosperity follow; otherwise, the Ascendant Lagna: the zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of birth is afflicted.
When Mars original: "Bhauma" is situated in the house of action the 10th house, representing career and public life, a Royal Yoga original: "Rajayoga," a planetary combination indicating high status or kingly power is then formed. If planets are placed in the fourth house the 'Patala' or foundation, the first house, the fifth house the house of children, or the ninth house the house of dharma/fortune, and are aspected by the Divine Teacher original: "Deva-drishto," referring to the gaze or aspect of Jupiter, even the greatest of sins and afflictions are destroyed.
However, if malefic planets original: "Kura," literally 'cruel' planets like Saturn or Mars have entered the fourth house, they cause great suffering to the mother of the child. When planets are positioned in the second, third, seventh, sixth, or tenth houses, one should recognize this as a Royal Yoga; such a person becomes a leader of seven nations.
Even if a mixture of benefic original: "Saumya," gentle planets like Venus or Mercury and malefic planets are in the sixth, eighth, fifth, ninth, and tenth houses, that child will become a respected ruler. Furthermore, when Mars, Jupiter original: "Guru", the Moon original: "Shashi", and Saturn original: "Tarki" are placed respectively in the fifth, sixth, eighth, and ninth houses, those born under such a configuration become the Lamps of their Lineage original: "Kuladipaka," those who bring glory and renown to their entire family.
If the Moon original: "Shitarashmi," literally the 'cool-rayed one' is in the first or second house, it certainly makes the person equal to a Protector of the Earth original: "Kshitipala," a king; he becomes a lord of men who brings joy to both his maternal and paternal family lines.
