The recommended offerings for Jupiter: gold, beautiful yellow cloth, yellow grains, salt, flowers, sugar, and items from an elephant's neck?. One should give these to the teacher Guru for peace. 5

For Venus: pearls, rice, gold, cloth, and a white cow or silver. For Saturn: fat?, black gram Masha, horse-gram Kulattha, oil, and great blue garments. For Rahu: a goat, gold, iron, silver-wool, copper, sesame seeds, and hessonite garnet Gomed. For Ketu: a goat, iron, cloth, and cat’s eye Vaidurya gemstones. 6
