The Results of the Birth-Vowel:
The vowel active at the moment of birth determines the "pulse" nāḍī-svara of one's nature.
If the Child Vowel Bāla-svara: the vowel 'A' in its earliest stage is rising at birth: the person will be fickle, timid, a liar, miserly, lacking self-control, untruthful, and very talkative.
If the Prince Vowel Kumāra-svara: the vowel 'I' is rising: the person is a professional, a connoisseur of the arts, fond of women, always fortunate, long-limbed, and brave.
He who is born under this rising becomes a King, possessing all auspicious marks, and is always victorious in battle.
If the Young Man Vowel Yuva-svara: the vowel 'U' is rising: the person is joined with women, religious, desirous, wise, steady in courage, truthful, and of good conduct. (66)
If the Death Vowel Mṛta-svara: the vowel 'O' is rising at birth: the person is cruel throughout the year, impaired in body or senses, lazy in all tasks, and dull-witted. (67)
