A lunar day original: "Tithi" should be accepted if it spans the primary time. it || 74 || If it spans that time on both days, the first lunar day original: "Pratipad" is considered to be the former day.
In this way, regarding the single-meal vow original: "Ekabhakta", if the required time is available on the first day, the former is chosen; if it is available only on the following day, the later is the determination of the lunar day. || 75 ||
If the required time is not available on either day, the former lunar day is considered best. If the lunar day spans that specific time portion equally on both days, || 76 || then that former day should be accepted, in accordance with the secondary original: "Gauna," referring to a less-ideal but permissible time time. In the case of an uneven span of that time portion, whichever lunar day || 77 || has the greater portion, whether the former or the latter, [is chosen] because of the greater connection vi...?.
Even in the absence of the primary time, one should perform the meal at that very time. || 78 || This determination original: "nirnaya," a formal legal or ritual conclusion of the independent single-meal vow has been declared. The determination of a single-meal that is part of another rite follows the rules of that primary rite. || 79 || In the case of a substitute for fasting, the ritual actions are to be performed exactly like fasting.
